Expand to Amazon
Selling on Amazon FBM (Fulfilled by Merchant) through Shopify means managing your inventory, listings, and orders in Shopify while fulfilling Amazon orders yourself. You can do this by installing the Shopify Marketplace Connect app in your Shopify Admin.
Step 1
Create or log into your Amazon Professional Seller Central account and configure shipping settings for Merchant Fulfillment (FBM). Then log into your Shopify store and go to Apps.
Step 2
Search for and install the Shopify Marketplace Connect app (formerly Amazon by CedCommerce) in the Shopify App Store. Launch the app and click Connect account to authorize Shopify to access your Amazon Seller Central.
Step 3
Go to Apps > Marketplace Connect > Settings and select your Amazon account. Under Update Amazon defaults, set the default fulfillment method to Merchant Fulfilled (FBM). In the Listings view, map existing Amazon listings to Shopify products or create new Amazon listings from your Shopify catalog.
Step 4
Shopify automatically syncs inventory levels to prevent overselling. Amazon orders pull directly into your Shopify admin — fulfill them like any Shopify order, and tracking details sync back to Amazon once you mark the order fulfilled.
